I just got this puppy and it really is a beautiful piece of work... as far as looks goes, but the performance does lack in a few areas. Overall the Sanyo VPC-CG102 HD camcorder works well in outdoor daylight surroundings, but it lacks in low light situations (there are adjustments in the settings that may improve the low light capabilities (white balance/exposure/etc), but so far I haven't tried them).
The 14mp camera does work nicely and you can take photos at the same time you shoot videos. The battery life is minimal, say 2-3 hours on the supplied 700mah battery (but I've already ordered 2 extra 1000mah batteries from ebay for $12). I've owned a few Sanyo cams and as for the stabilization system it performs poorly, but this has been the same for most of the sanyo cams..
